The energy company not only provides reliable service to eastern Tajikistan, but also expanded to communities in Afghanistan which have never had electricity before.
Building a Reliable Network for Growth
Pamir Energy’s parent entity, the Aga Khan Development Network, plans to reach thousands more customers in Afghanistan in the coming years and, through partnerships, will expand its network to Chitral in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in the medium to long term. Cross-border integration supports the growth of the entire region. By expanding Pamir Energy, we will reach even more remote mountainous communities with affordable, reliable, and sustainable electricity, laying the groundwork for a better future for the entire region.
