This blog is the second in our AKF Run Team video series, highlighting our Boston Marathon runners. If you’d like to donate to them, you can do so here.
Richard Prevost is one of three runners who will wear the AKF Run Team logo in the 2014 Boston Marathon. Richard lived in Boston for years, studied at MIT, and is now a financial analyst in Washington, DC. He has run several marathons before – and was about to end his marathon career until the opportunity to join the AKF Run Team came along. He says, “Running for Aga Khan Foundation embodies the commitment to peace and community that the Boston Marathon has always meant.” Watch the video to hear why he’s running for the Aga Khan Foundation U.S.A., his approach to training, and his strategy for outrunning cheetahs.
