Mittal’s Story

Mittal was one of the many youth in rural India who faced limited job prospects. She’s now thriving in a job and making a meaningful contribution to her family after participating in Yuva Junction’s innovative training program.

Batula’s Story

We partnered with USAID to build the capacity of Kenyan organizations to raise resources locally through the Yetu Initiative. A Yetu Initiative training helped a Kenyan NGO give scholarships to girls like Batula so that they can stay in school.

Anora’s Story

AKF and USAID’s Thrive Tajikistan program has established community-based savings groups that offer young women access to financial services. With access to credit, Anora is able to attend university and improve her quality of life.
