2024-2025 National Youth Arts Competition
Visual Art Competition – Call for Entries
The Youth Art Competition provides a platform for young artists to explore and express their perspectives and solutions, through the universal language of art, on improving quality of life for all. The artwork will be reviewed by a panel of judges and exhibited at various events, including the Youth Festival in Dallas.
RULES AND GUIDELINES
- Open to ALL high school students
- Entries may include painting, drawing, etching, digital art, photography or mixed media
- Submissions must include an uploaded image of the artwork, written description and a video presenting what inspired their artwork and how it relates to the theme Inspiring Hope, Changing Lives
- All entries should be submitted electronically by December 2nd, 2024
AWARDS
- First Place: $250
- Second Place: $150
- Third Place: $100

- Illustration of the theme
- Creativity and originality
- Technique
- Overall Presentation

Spoken Word Competition – Call for Entries
The Spoken Word Competition encourages young minds to reflect upon and express their perspectives and solutions, through poetry and oral art, on improving the quality of life for all. The Spoken Word performances will be reviewed by a panel of judges and exhibited at the annual Youth Festival in Dallas.
RULES AND GUIDELINES
- Open to ALL high school students.
- Entries may include creative writing delivered through performance such as poetry, short storytelling, song lyrics, monologue, etc.
- Submissions must include a video of the spoken word presented by the participant, in addition to a word document containing the script. All submissions should relate to the theme Inspiring Hope, Changing Lives.
- All entries should be submitted electronically by December 2nd, 2024
