Simin is the Senior Officer, Programs and Partnerships.
Simin has over eight years of experience in program management, grants administration, gender equality, governance, and advocacy within international organizations. Her most recent role was at the International Foundation for Electoral Systems in Washington, DC, where she provided essential technical support to enhance electoral processes and democratic governance in Pakistan. Previously, Simin worked in Afghanistan with Tetra Tech/Gender Resources Inc., where she successfully managed grants and gender inclusion initiatives, making significant contributions to advancing gender equality within local government institutions and educational programs.
Simin holds a Master’s degree in Peace-Building and Conflict Transformation from Eastern Mennonite University and a Bachelor’s degree from Bucknell University. Beyond her professional accomplishments, she has a deep love for nature and enjoys outdoor activities like backpacking and camping, with Montana being her favorite destination for backpacking trips.
