Georgie is the Executive Assistant to the CEO.

Prior to joining AKF, Georgie has been providing administrative and operations’ coordination as she supported development work for the last 13 years. Specifically, through offering executive assistance and program management support, she was involved in projects that resulted in the building of schools in remote areas, distribution of food and school materials, and the drafting of an emergency plan for the Ministry of Health, in Haiti, at the outset of the pandemic.

Georgie holds a master’s in public administration with a focus on international development and non-profit management from George Washington University. She holds a bachelor’s in international relations; and is fluent in French, Spanish and Haitian Creole.

During her free time, Georgie enjoys being outdoors. So, music/art events, trying new cuisines, wine/whiskey tastings, dancing and hiking are among her favorite hobbies. Georgie is also an avid reader who seeks to expand her outlook on life and learn something new every day.
