Cameryn is the Senior Officer, Programs and Partnerships.
In this role, Cameryn manages a portfolio of grants in Central Asia and East Africa to ensure high achievement of program goals. Cameryn leads and oversees the technical implementation, financial performance, monitoring, compliance and donor reporting for 10+ projects. In addition to grant management, Cameryn supports AKF USA’s business development and resource mobilization strategies. He supports AKF in identifying new potential partnership opportunities and is responsible for establishing and maintaining effective partnerships with a variety of institutional donors, including the US Government, UN Agencies and several Private Philanthropic Foundations. Cameryn also tracks funding opportunities, supports the positioning AKF’s country offices and other agencies of the AKDN, and coordinates the design, development and submission of high quality proposals and bids.
Cameryn began his professional career when he joined the Foundation in 2018. Cameryn holds a Bachelor’s degree in Comparative Cultures and Politics from the James Madison College at Michigan State University.
