Avery is the Planned and Legacy Giving (PLG) Officer.

Avery is responsible for the implementation of the 1967 Legacy Society recognition plan, which includes organizing PLG donor stewardship events and managing the donor journey.  Avery also provides analysis of PLG donor data, including analyzing current and historic donor trends, and maintains files within AKF’s CRM.

Previously, Avery has worked with various nonprofits in both fundraising and development, and as board liaison or executive assistant. From this experience, Avery has developed a skillset in CRM data management, donor stewardship, and project coordination.

Avery earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in Political Science with a concentration in Civil and Human Rights and a minor in Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s Studies. Avery is also a Certified Nonprofit Professional through the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance.
